Insightful has deep roots within both agriculture and media. Our journey began in with the launch of the Preston Guardian, a broadsheet local newspaper with a strong agricultural focus.
The Preston Guardian officially became the Farmers Guardian, which remains one of the most recognised farming titles in the UK today.
Our sister monthly titles Dairy Farmer and Arable Farming joined the fold, significantly further strengthening our offering to the agricultural industry.
AgriBriefing (then Briefing Media) bought the whole agricultural portfolio from United Business Media and set about creating the UK’s fastest growing business-to-business publishing company, launching The CropTec Show, the British Farming Awards and buying.
In answer to a growing demand from our customers looking for something beyond on-page advertising and advertorials, Insightful was officially created – a standalone content marketing agency serving businesses focused on food, farming and the environment.
Since then, Insightful has grown from strength to strength, working on behalf of a number of major clients and developing well-known brands in their own right, such as: 24 Hours in Farming, Agri-Innovation Den and #ThisIsAgriculture. AgriBriefing too has continued to grow with the acquisitions of The LAMMA show in the UK, Feedinfo in France and Urner Barry in the US.
